Capital District Inspections began in 2019 in the response to local building departments requiring asbestos surveys before they would issue building permits to homeowners. It is actually the Department of Labor Industrial Code Rule 56 that requires these asbestos surveys, and the local building departments are just trying to help enforce that rule. We offer these asbestos surveys in a timely fashion at a reasonable rate. The cost of the asbestos survey will be based on how quickly you need the report and also the amount of samples that we are required to take. We offer service in the Greater Capital District of New York State which includes the following counties: Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Renssealear, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie and Warren.
